Bio
Dr. Jon graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Brigham Young University, Idaho. From there he went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in Virginia.
Jon grew up involved in athletics, primarily basketball, swimming, and running. At 18 he discovered a passion for practicing and teaching movement and since then has taught parkour, free-running, yoga, acro-yoga, and is currently taking a pilates teacher training course. His passion for movement along with a deep seated desire to help people heal led him to the profession of physical therapy.
He strives to understand the particular movement practice of his patients to help them to return to full participation in their activity of choice. He is particularly passionate about footwear, foot and ankle health, and working with the active adult population.
Outside of work, Jon enjoys spending time in nature, hiking, backpacking, and canoeing/kayaking. Above all else Jon enjoys spending time with his wife, Lucy, and kids, Leo and Winnie.
